Is this normal? My LO has been drinking 5 ounces every 2/3 hrs and between 1900 and 2200 has drank 16 ounces. He screams and cries until he gets more milk and have ruled everything else out. Anyone went though anything similar?

Mine can do that sometimes, he normally has 8oz bottles, he's a big baby but if he's not sick I ve never worried.

Mine like to tank up in the evenings as they have less appetite in the day.

My tiny girl twin can drink 160mls at 6, 8 and 9 lol 👍

My second ds did this at this age - drank 5 bottles of 180ml with the last two at around 630 and 8pm. One midwife told me to 'drop' that last bottle but he was sleeping 10 hours so i did no such thing! He started grabbing food off our plates shortly after that...

He's about to have a growth spurt.

Babies, toddlers and children eat - in the case of babies drink - more just before growth spurts.

Babies and toddlers, under about 3, are able to regulate their calorie intake themselves as long as you don't try to force feed or deny them food.

So just offer him as much milk as he wants as he will stop drinking when he's full.
