Hello!
I'm going back to work soon and would like to keep giving my dd breast milk. Any suggestions on the best value for money electric pumps on the market? I've been using tomee tipee manual one but is just too long 😅
Many thanks.

You can hire them, I'm not sure if it would work out more cost effective that way.

I have an Ardo Calypso double electric pump which was was about £100 IIRC, not cheap but a good one.

Make sure you get a closed system pump not an open system one.

If it's closed system you could buy second hand.

Thank you @NameChange30 for the close system advice.

@Andv Hey! I have a Medela freestyle flex double pump and also the Elvie double pump.

I find the Medela the best to get more milk, i have the pumping bra which means its handsfree but does get in the way. I use this at night after feeding DS2.

The Elvie is more practical i just put this in my bra and off i go. I use this through the day and when we can visit friends/family it can be used discreetly instead of needing to go home or sit in their bathroom for half an hour. Also i have found this to be amazing if i ever loose track of time when out and about or taking kids to the park Smile

Mine was a while ago but I used the Ameda Lactaline which was great.

How old is your baby? I went back at 10 months and 9 months and only pumped fir comfort for a short while. I worked part fine and they had solids and a little bit of cows milk when I wasn't there, then I fed them at other times.

Hi,

I had a brief stay in hospital with my little one after he was born, whilst I was in there I used an Ardo pump and it was amazing. The midwife said they now recommend Ardo pumps above Madela. I've just purchased an Ardo calypso double pump which is really good and quiet.
