My DD is 15kg and 14 months. I've measured her and she's 84cm, so she's not small overall. I have an older child and I remember he was very heavy as a toddler, and had big thighs and a tummy, but DDs tummy looks very large. I'm bf on demand as in she asks for it, grabs at my T-shirt or says her word for it. I'm just a bit worried she's a bit too heavy. Her diet isn't too bad, but she does have normal food, so a bit of everything. She loves fruit which of course is sugary and cheese. She has been walking a few months, very steady. She bf a lot though. She been very slow to get her teeth, they seem to take ages to come through, so some of it comfort ? Doesn't sleep through, maybe 2 feeds, but that would only be one side each feed.

I'm not overweight and neither is her brother now ( just checked his height and weight 114cm / 21kg so I think he's 98 centile for both now at 4.5 yes)! Daddy a bit overweight.

She doesn't have full fat milk as the only milk she has is in weetabix or proper porridge. So she has a tiny bit of semi skimmed in her cereal which is what we have, as she doesn't drink cows milk. She has cheese and yogurt. She has daily vitamins.

Anyway what should I do? Should I worry? I think I'm over bf feeding her. I fed her brother to 2 yrs, I found it hard to cut it down being a SAHM and I haven't tried to cut down with DD yet. Should I stop? I'm worried as she feeds to sleep still. Help

Have you plotted her centiles for height and weight? I'd do that before you come to any decisions Smile
