Hi

Our ds is 15 weeks old. He seems to be naturally falling asleep every evening now at around 7.30/8 and has a bottle around 7 and then would stir again anything between 2 and 4. I am wondering if I should be giving him a dream feed around 10/11pm as I just thought it seems to be quite a long time without a feed or should I leave him to sleep and he will wake when hes hungry again?
I express so he is bottle fed

Thank you

I lifted DD and gave her a dream feed (bf) between 10 and 11. It tended to settle her till about 4/5. She may have slept that long anyway but it was never worth taking the risk!

At 15 weeks I'd leave him to it, tats a good chunk of sleep!

I used to give a dream feed just before I went to bed - 11pm / midnight and my DD slept through to 5/6am from 12 weeks. My DM used to think it was unkind or unnecessary I suppose but it worked for us.

My breastfed 12 week old goes between 9 and 11 hours after his bedtime feed. I really wouldn't worry about it at this age.
The only reason to dream feed is to get a longer stretch of sleep yourself although it doesn't work with all babies.
