Can I breastfeed in America??????

I know this sounds like a ridiculous question but I have had a huge argument with my husband tonight.....HELP!

We are going to America in two weeks time and he is desperate for LO to take a bottle because he says that breastfeeding is not accepted in America.

I have gotten so used to just feeding LO wherever I go I find it hard to believe that I am going to have to battle to get him onto a bottle so that I can go anywhere whilst there.

Can anyone help me with some answers?

MFO - it sounds like your dh my be using the holiday as an excuse to curtail you bf?
Please feel free to slap me down with a wet fish if I am wrong but it seems a strange time to raise it. Will it be LO's first flight too? bf is fabulous for them during landing/taking off to stop ears blocking/hurting

I breastfed in the US and never ever had any problems. I'd be interested to know where your dh got his ideas from

And imagine the added inconvenience if you have to start using bottles on holiday! It's not as if you're a seasoned bottle user so it just would add a lot of unnecessary extra stress to your trip.

Universal Studios just apologised to a woman for an employee telling her not to bf in public
