Expressing milk - increasing supply

DS (9 weeks) is mixed fed: formula and expressed breast milk.

He used to have half and half roughly but this past couple of weeks he hasn’t given me a minute and I haven’t been able to express. I’m now noticing my supply has dropped.

Is it possible it will increase again as I express more? Or are we on our way out?

You can definitely increase it by expressing more! It works on a supply and demand basis. Good luck

As Something says, the only way to increase your supply is by regular pumping.

It might be worth giving one of the BFing Helplines a call this morning and talking through how you're feeling about mixed-feeding and if you want to continue Smile
