Hi, am new to Mumsnet so apologies if this has been covered loads of times before but need advice about how to stop my 8 mth old dd, who has one very sharp little tooth, from biting me when I'm feeding her.She doesn't always do it and if she does it's not always hard but tonight she has drawn blood and I have a very sore nipple now! The thought of feeding her off that side any time soon makes me go ! I have tried taking her off when she does it and saying 'no' to see if she will get the message but not sure it's getting through! Any advice will be appreciated!

Ds always does this when he's teething. I did the pulling off for a few seconds and it did get through eventually, but he seems to relapse when he's really suffering with his teeth.

Welcome to mumsnet!
