Tips for occasional EBM feed for 11weeks baby

Hi I posted this question on the sponsored thread in active but it prompted me to actually come over the the infant feeding area of talk instead!
My baby is 11weeks old and breastfeeds great. During the first couple of weeks he would have maybe one bottle of expressed milk most days given by his dad to allow me a slightly longer sleep in the mornings. Then once paternity leave was over he was just having these bottles of EBM on a weekend morning, so once a week. He always took the bottles happily and I have no problem expressing enough for a feed. But.... this weekend just gone he point blank refused the bottle! We tried both days and it’s like he has forgotten how to suck from it. It’s not a huge problem as breastfeeding is fine for us, but I did really like having that little lie in and also I’m considering doing some KIT days at work soon. So, any tips for enabling baby to feed from bottle very occasionally gratefully received. Maybe a cup would work better? Would be interested to know if anyone has had similar experience? Thanks

It could just be that he's realised he prefers BFing but there are some things you can try. Have you tried moving up a test size first?

Yes I’m sure he does prefer breastfeeding! It’d just a shame it was like he had completely forgo how to suck at the bottle. That being said, we were still using the little nuk teats that I took home from the hospital so it could be they are too small for him (he’s a big baby nowadays). Have bought one of those bottles and teats that claim to be ‘breast like’ so will see how he does with that in the morning.
