Could this be a growth spurt?

DS is 8 weeks (corrected age 4 weeks arriving at 36 weeks) has been having trouble with feeding (reflux etc.). He's finally managing to keep it down thanks to anti reflux formula and gaviscon (though still battling the reflux a little bit).

However in the last 2 days he's been wanting food non stop. Easily could do 4-6 ounces quickly (in 15 mins if I let him) every 1.5-2 hours (probably even more frequently if I'd let him).

I'm trying to pace feed him a little (take his time with the bottle and waiting with top ups) to make sure it's definitely hunger cues and he has time to process any reflux as well as enough time for him to see if he feels full before feeding him more as he's eating so insatiably.

Could this be a growth spurt?

I don't want to end up over feeding him where he feels really uncomfortable, bloated and gassy. I know the NHS and other sources like Tommy's says it is possible to overfeed a baby if you're FF. But also with his age and corrected age I find it hard to relate to the growth spurt articles and I don't want to hinder any spurts or leaps by not giving him enough milk.

It definitely could be a growth spurt at that age Smile
