Change of formula --> vomiting?

Hi all, wonder if anyone can help: my 6 month old is combi fed and starting solids. He was doing really well for the past month or so but last few days he is being sick on a regular basis, quite considerable amounts.

I've swapped him from kendamil organic to regular, could that do it? Or perhaps it is because I've started introducing small amounts of meat (only puréed chicken with veg so far). I would have thought the formula was basically the same but maybe it's not. Based on timing of the sick and the consistency it feels like it's more likely to be the milk. He's perfectly happy in himself and barely seems to register he's been sick... however he didn't drink all his bottle this evening which is really not like him :-/

Has anyone had similar experiences during weaning or should I switch the milk back?

I think there's only one way to find out if it's the milk, I'd swap him back and see what happens Smile

I can't say I've had this issue, I also thought the organic and standard would be very similar. Perhaps it's a combination of him adjusting to the formula switch and also adjusting to foods. I also use Kendamil btw Smile

Is he still on the same brand but just non organic?

Thanks for the replies. I switched him back today and very minimal amounts were returned to me :-)

He was however more fussy, it felt like he was annoyed it wasn't flowing as quickly. My theory is the organic is thicker and maybe stays down in the stomach better? Certainly the vomit was very watery and sudden each time. Anyway, that'll teach me to try to save money on his royal highness :-/ !!
