Breastfeeding an older baby tips

My daughter is 8 months, she can now crawl and has started pulling herself up on objects. It great, however she also like to do all of this while breastfeeding too. She gets so distracted by everything while feeding that I have to take her up to her empty nursery in the dark just to get a proper feed down her. Even then she will get distracted by something as simple as the arm of the chair or a button on my clothes!

She's started waking for an extra feed at night (she was already waking for 3 over night prior to this) and I'm quite confident it's due to the fact she's not taking as much in the day.

So my question is has anyone got any tips to lessen the distractions or lessen the climbing? Is it something they grow out of?

I tend to go straight back to bed to feed. So few distractions on my room. Plus it could be a phase

Extra night feed? Is she cold /needs solids for supper?
