What could be causing tummy issues at 5 months?

Dd is 5.5 months old and for the past week has been really suffering with trapped wind which causes her to strain and cry as she seems very uncomfortable in her tummy. She has always been a sicky baby but it seems to have got a bit worse the last few days although the sick doesn't seem to bother her (just my washing loads!) I haven't eaten anything out of the usual so can't imagine she would suddenly have an allergy? She used to poop every day but has gradually been going longer between but I read that is normal. She is EBF and hasn't started any weaning yet so can't imagine what it is that is causing so much pain. Have tried tummy massage which just makes her cry and doesn't get any wind out anyway. Any ideas welcomed?! I will call the doctor on Monday but just wondered if anyone had a similar experience. Thanks in advance.

Have you definitely not eaten anything put of the ordinary OP? No extra cheese?

@JiltedJohnsJulie I had some extra cheese on boxing day but I do eat a lot of cheese in my day to day diet anyway. I did eat some blue cheese which I don't eat very often. If Dd had an allergy to cheese wouldn't it have shown before now though?

She's maybe just picked up a little bug from somewhere. Or maybe your milk flow has changed. If your flow has increased or something this can make her gassy. Her digestive system is forever changing so maybe it's just part of it maturing
