Vitamins for bf DS? Avidec

My doctor prescribed vitamin supplement drops for DS, who is exclusively bf. They're called Avidec. Anyone know whether he really needs them, and anything about this brand? I know he needs more iron, but I don't even see that on the list of "ingredients".

how old is your ds, and why and how does the dr think he needs supplements?

more clearly put: why does the doctor think / how does he know he needs supplements?

he's 7 months old and the doctor said he'd need them just because, no specific reason, just that he's over 6 months and now somehow he needs vitamins.

then it sounds like he doesn't need supplements and your doctor doesn't know enough about breastfeeding.

is he content and weeing and pooing like you would expect him to?
