How to use a milk collector?

I have a silicone milk collector from Naturebond and was wondering how to use it- can I use it on both breast one at a time when BFing? Or do I wait until DD is finished on one side first, as there would be less for her on the second side if I used it from the start of the feeding session? Not sure if that makes sense...I hope it does!

Reason I'm using it is my supply is a little behind and so I'm trying to top her up with EBM as much as possible, and formula if I don't have enough EBM.

I used to get loads from the Haaka. Never had to pump once I bought that. No rules, just popped it on the other breast as I was feeding.

Yep, pop it on when you start so it catches the leak on let down, and then it will gently suction that side as you feed - it’s not as efficient as your baby so won’t collect everything, there will still be some left when you move baby to the other breast
