Just over birth weight at 4 weeks

Is this normal? My little boy was born 8lb4 only lost 3% of birth weight and just hit 8lb10 at 4 weeks 3 days old he’s EBF. My HV said this isn’t normal and I’ll have to start topping up with formula so instead I’ve started pumping to top him up with breast milk. It’s really stressing me out and I’m starting to not enjoy our BF journey :( I’m so worried that he’s not getting enough from me and that he’s hungry so I’m becoming obsessed with his weight gain. He’s slowly gaining and from his weight gain the last 3 days he’s put on 28g a day which I’ve read is normal?

Any advice?

I did have IV guilds during labour and he was very puffy after birth so I think this also added extra weight on him.

What does the weight chart in the red book say? Has he dropped percentiles?

Well weighing daily isn't going to help.

Has anyone actually checked how BF is going? Is latch ok? Is he actually swallowing? Has he been checked for tongue tie? How is nappy output?

They're meant to regain birth weight within two weeks as they need a certain amount of calories going in for growth and development. Have they checked for BFing problems? Milk transfer? Latch? Supply issues? Do you have risk factors for low supply?
