Goats milk formula

Goats milk formula is still available in the UK, however it is no longer labelled as infant formula due to ridiculous new legislation.
I still get Nanny from local health food shop, but you can get it direct from here

hi, beenleigh! that is a fab bit of information, thanks! My DS1 and DD both drink goats milk, (completely intolerant to cows)and it would be handy to have it in powder form for one of the most bizarre uses you may hear of - for breadmaker recipes!
Woo! i have been looking for such stuff for around 2 yrs, had resorted to soya powder (formula), which isn't that nice
Whatever made it occur to u to post such info, i'm very happy. Know any more wierd and wonderful stuff?

Beenleigh, thanks for that, very useful info.

it was being discussed on another thread. It's such a pity that it is banned for sale as a baby formula as it will really put off first time users. My DDs are not intolerant to cows milk, but there is a history of ezcema and asthma on both sides of the family, so I was keen to keep them off cows milk. DD2 ok, but if DD1 has cows milk her excema flares up, not badly, but noticably.
Gigglewitch, if you have any anecdotal evidence that goats is better than cows milk then the nanny people would love to hear it.
No, sorry, don't actually know anything else useful!
