Quick question about flasks...

DD2 likes her milk really warm and takes more if its warm and we're off to an appointment today. I've decided it will be better to take a flask and make her bottle up while we're there. She'll be due around or straight after she has a stoma bag change and she is generally very hungry and tired when we do it so it needs to be ready.

Should I fill it up as soon as the water has boiled or wait for it to cool down a bit? Will the flask retain the same heat as when it was filled up or will it cool down a bit?

I don't want to be faffing around with having to cool it down and make her wait...

Cheers in advance!

depends on the flask really, you might want to test it out beforehand. best to give it a min to cool before putting the lid on the flask.
