From another thread there seems to be a lot of anecdotal evidence that BFing older kids can cause mums to get run down. I go back to full time work when my baby's 6 months old and my job can be very mentally and physically demanding, with quite long hours. I'm planning to continue BFing for as long as possible though, but for financial reasons I need to be able to work.
Have people found this to be a problem or have they got round it? Any tips? And what sort of supplements should I think about - Vitamin D worries me because up here in the frozen North we don't get a lot of daylight at the best of times.
