My 5 week old seems to have dropped feeds already I'm probably feeding her around 6 times a day now. Does that seem normal at this age?

Sounds not that many, but I guess it depends on how long each feed is. Do they feed overnight as well?

My 6 month old fed about 6 times overnight last night, so probably on 10-14 feeds per day still depending on how many at night.

By day do you mean during daylight hours of a whole 24 hour day? If you just mean during daylight hours that sounds ok, that's every 2 hours. If you mean 6 in 24 hours that's probably not enough. You might have to start encouraging her to feed more

@Caspianberg @edin16 it's 6 times in 24hours but she's putting the weight on. Plenty of wet and dirty nappies too

Have you spoken to your health visitor? She might start increasing the the next week or so naturally as she'll be about ready for a cluster feed going by her age
