HELP needed increasing ebm supply - expressing exclusively and supply diminishing!

anyone got any advice on how to increase my bm supply? Am bf but exclusively expressing as never managed to get DS latched on but desperate to continue... DS now nearing 4months. Can only get 26oz a day and barely keeping up with hungry baby. Have expressed every 2 hrs while DP has been home for last 4 days but now he is going back to work am in trouble!

started the brewers yeast today (would have been yesterday but DD's ear infection suddenly stopped that!). Justaboutmurdering - how long can I continue the brewers yeast at such a high dose?

unfortunately the brewers yeast seems to have had no effect, can only hope to see an improvement when period ends!

There is a forum here all about expressing. Have you tried Domperidone - someone who I know online who has been expressing for a year for her dd who has a cleft palate has said that it worked really well for her. She has posted on the above forum so you might find it interesting. I think you have to join but the Breastfeeding 1 forum is free and "Expressing" is a sub forum of that.

I exclusively express too and have experienced a sudden drop in supply a couple of times. On each occasion I have upped the number of expresses per day and made sure I got up in the night to do it at least once between 1am and 4am. And here I am, still expressing many months later.

really chuffed at all the support on here. I ordered a copy the other day but thank you! Just as I had paid for it my Mum2Mum bf support worker dropped a copy through the letterbox so will be sending mine back! Bit frightened about domperidone... seem to be mixed reviews. I have tried to up the frequency to every two hours but has no effect even after a week. I keep meaning to get up in the night but every time I don't quite manage it... seems a shame when DD sleeps through most of the time!
