Help! I've broken breastfeeding!

My 6 month old DD is exclusively breast fed. She is also cutting her first tooth and clearly thought it would help her poor sore gums to have a bit of a chomp on my nipple whilst she was feeding.

I followed the usual advice of saying a firm No! and taking her off the breast for a short while. She did it twice in one feed and as the last one was when she had stopped drinking in any event I just finished the feed. This was probably a mistake.

Unfortunately, since then (this was about 10am) she has refused to feed off the breast she bit. She will feed off the other side but not that one.

Is there anything I can do to encourage her to feed again? I'm getting engorged and will have to express if she doesn't feed.

Sounds like a nursing strike? Lots of tips here -
