Mastitis yet again!

I'm currently lying in bed and feeling rather sorry for myself. I have two DC, feeding my eldest gave me 3 bouts of mastitis during the first 4 months or so, which required antibiotics. I thought being more experienced second time round will help me avoid mastitis, and I've also been taking lecithin this time round. Wrong. DC2 is now 9 months and I've just had my fourth episode of mastitis this time round, just one month away from the last one. Perhaps it's due to DC2 feeding more than DC1 that I'm still getting mastitis when he's already 9 months. May also be due to the fact that he doesn't have as regular a routine as DC1 did, since DC1 slept through the night at 6 months, and DC2 still has 1 feed at least during the night. I don't wear tight clothing. Though been suffering from low moods and anxious about work which may have contributed to it.

Anyway, I'm on antibiotics again for 7 days. Anyone else suffered from multiple episodes of mastitis? What do you think helped you clear it? Trying to get baby to feed on infected side first but it's still blocked. Pumping isn't helping either. Hoping the antibiotics do their trick soon!
