How much milk does an 8 month old need?

My 8 month old dd has been exclusively bf. I started weaning at 6 months and she is on 3 good meals a day and doing well with this. I still bf 4 times a day and an occasional extra one during the night. Some days she feeds really well from me and others (like this am) hardly at all.Saw HV couple of days ago who suggested I may have to top up with formula as she needs a pint of milk a day off me and may not be getting it some days. Really reluctant to start with ff now as never had to in 8 mths but worried as I obviously don't know how much milk she gets from me. Do I need to worry about amounts or should I assume she will take what she needs?

don't worry - at this age they say they need a pint of milk but this can include dairy products like milk, cheese and yoghurt etc
it matters what they drink over the course of a week, rather than per day so i am sure that over a week she does average a pint per day
