Peachi baby wipes for faces?

Hi there
Just started solids with my nearly 6 month old (going back to work so started about 10 days early) and looking for reusable wipes for hands and faces. I used the Muslinz bamboo terry wipes for bums anyway which are very effective but wanted something even softer for hands and faces (also it's hard to get the stains out of my bamboo Terry ones). Went with Peachi for face wipes (bamboo velour) as they looked so soft but I'm so disappointed as they don't actually clean lb face! Wasted £18 on 10 :(. They may look beautiful but they smear rather than clean and aren't very absorbent for cleaning the high chair. Has anyone had any success with theirs? Do I need to try them wetter or drier, or do they need pre washed a few times to build up absorbency? Feels like money down the drain at the moment at the time when there isn't a lot going spare!

I think they will smear if shiney soft material.

Buy some cheeky wipes or regular cotton face clothes ( think cheeky wipes were £15 for 25). Use the others for making mirrors and glass shine at home
