Bottle of expressed milk in the evening, when to express?

Hi everyone. For those who give a bottle of expressed milk at night, at what moment of the day do you express it? It is ok to give milk expressed in the morning at night or will it keep baby up? I read stuff about morning milk having more cortisol, wondering if it really makes a difference. I can express more milk in the morning and would have to pump twice in the night to make up a bottle if I couldn't use milk expressed in the morning

I used milk expressed in the morning for a night feed with my first baby with no problems! As you say, it's much harder to express plenty later in the day. Milk produced in the evening does tend to have a higher fat content and for there to be less of it, so ideal before night time, but having said that, seeing as babies need to sleep a lot during the day too, daytime milk shouldn't keep them awake!
