Desperately trying to get my little girl to take a bottle.
I have tried everything!!! Mam, tommee tippee, doctor brown, nuby and a cheap unbranded make.
I have tried a slow teat and a fast teat. Different times of the day, other people trying, other rooms, distraction, cool milk, warm milk, breast milk, formula.
Nothing works!!!

Please tell me the secret! And what worked for you??

Thank you

Both DDs like the medelas with the stupidly expensive teat. Tried everything with DD2 as was determined she'd take a cheaper one but the only one she liked was the medela. How old is your DD? Could she have a cup instead of a bottle? Saves you weaning her off it eventually.

Have you tried a latex teat, the brown ones?

beepbeepsheep · 14/10/2020 07:34

We didn't get on with doidy cups. I meant more like the ones like the Munchkin 360, that kind of thing. Hope she likes the medela!

Sometimes its not about the teat, may just be baby likes the breast more and is stubborn! Think you will have to just persist. My sister baby was like this and it took 2 months of very hard work

Bertiebox-
Nope I haven't but I'll get back on amazon now 🤣🙈

Thanks x

My LG refused bottles so in the end I decided it was a fight not worth having,

When we started weaning we introduced a 360 cup with water and she took to that really well. She was never a huge fan of taking milk any way that boob but she would have milk from a cup from about 7/8 months. By then though I didn't need her to very often.

My eldest was combi fed and had no issues with going between breast and bottle. Both had bottles introduced at the same time in the same way. I just think some babies don't like bottles. She wouldn't take a dummy either.
