I've just noticed that the green tab is missing from a Cow & Gate tub of formula that came with my last food shop. Lifting the lid, the foil looks intact and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been opened. There's a black spot on the foil which I believe changes colour if the foil is broken - is that correct? If so then I'm happy to use the milk knowing that it's sealed, but otherwise I won't chance it.
