My DD is 8 months old and I have got her down to one breastfeed a day - first thing in the morning. How do I stop the breastfeed? I am aware that babies around this age should have around 20oz of milk a day with 3 meals a day. Do I split the morning ff into say one 3oz then a 4oz or is it better the split the feeds later in the Day? We have a rough routine which I'll post below so you have an idea of what we do. I pretty much go by her for her feeds. Wwyd?
This is not a thread about breastfeeding is best ect as I am ready to stop - it hurts far too much with her teeth Blush
Any advice would be much appreciated.

7.30 - breastfeed
8.30 - breakfast
10.30 - formula 7oz
12-1pm - lunch
3/4pm - 7oz formula
6pm - dinner
7pm - 7oz formula before bed.

I would simply offer a 7oz bottle instead and see if it works, every child is slightly different. I weaned the other way with night last, when I finally dropped it my h took over night duties for a few days as they refused formula for me. We used a cup in the daytime which was fine
