Interesting. Thank you for posting that. Makes sense, as milk only comes in from day 3.

I find that really interesting as on day 1 I was coerced into allowing my poor tiny 5lb DD to be given 40ml formula to correct low blood sugars first by cup then by tube. She threw it all back up straight away which seems quite predictable seeing this. This resulted in her being taken to SCBU for a week. I have always believed there would have been no problem had I just been allowed to bf little and often. They seemed to have some formula to work out how much milk was supposedly required but what it was based on I know not.
