Infant Gaviscon success stories?

Hello!
6 week old baby has just been put on gaviscon for suspected silent reflux, but I'm struggling to find success stories out there.. we've had 6 weeks of 5hr+ daily crying marathons so I'm really looking for little beacons of hope right now!
Any positive result stories would be really welcome!

My DS had silent reflux. Would projectile vomit after every feed. Was so frustrating. Gaviscon made a huge difference. He was never a screamer with it though so I can’t comment on that but it made a huge difference to his vomiting and his weight

Helped my ds a bit but then he was worse again. Not sure if you're BF or FF but the GP suspected cows milk protein intolerance so we changed to Nutramigen milk and it made an enormous difference. Had a happy baby finally! Good luck, I know just how exhausting it is x

Worked really really well for my daughter but watch for constipation and get on top of it quickly if it starts.

Our DD is on infant gaviscon and has been since she was around 6 weeks old for silent reflux. She used to scream in pain which was just heartbreaking to see and hear and was very sicky but since she has been on it we have had no tears and her sickness has reduced to what I would consider to be normal for a baby. Hope it works for you x

Thanks for the replies! It's encouraging to see it can help.

Littlebirdie - he seems a little bit constipated already, do you have any tips for getting around it?

We used lactulose from the gp. Hope it all comes together for you.
