Hi,

My baby is 12 days old and I am bottle feeding her. I was using the cow and gate 1st forumula milk but she kept curlying up and crying at night & wasn't pooing that much.

switched to cow and gate colic and constipation and she seems to enjoy it more and doesn't chug it down as much, she is pooing at lot more...

Anyone used this milk and what do they think

DC1 is 5 now so it was a while ago but he was on the cow and gate comfort milk which I think is now the colic and constipation one. It seemed fine but he was never one to be crazy for his milk, we moved him back to the normal formula around 5 months and he handled it much better.

DC2 is 6 months and has been EBF since birth until 2 weeks ago when I transitioned him to bottles, he’s now fully formula fed. I used the normal cow and gate and even though it was mixed with breast milk for the first 10 days whilst my supply slowed he became extremely constipated- was really uncomfortable and his poos were rock solid! I did some research and came across Kendamil- google it- it’s amazing! Within 6 hours of switching into it he managed to get the backlog cleared and his poos are now lovely and soft again. It also doesn’t contain fish oil like most of the big brands so doesn’t stink! I’ve got it on subscription now it’s amazing! His skin has also cleared- it had become a little rough on his cheeks on the cow and gate.
