Switched to formula from EBF at 6 months- having too many bottles??

Wondering how many bottles/ how much formula is generally average for your 6 months old?

My first was formula fed from 6 weeks but I can’t remember! My youngest is 6 months old and over the past 2 weeks I’ve transitioned him from EBF to all bottle fed. I’m just wondering how much he should be having- particularly overnight! He’s generally been having 5 bottles between 8am and midnight but the past 2 nights has been draining a 4oz bottle at 4am ish too. When I first started transitioning him over I did a breastfeed at midnight ish, 4am ish and first thing in the morning. He stopped wanting the first thing one himself and then stopped wanting the 4am ish one so I hadn’t been offering a bottle at that time and trying to resettle instead but after quite a few awful nights where he’s struggled to go back to sleep properly after that time I tried a bottle incase it was hunger and he wanted it again! I’m just confused I suppose as I can’t remember when night feeds tend to start phasing out?

My DD was FF from day one, and I think her night feeds (past 11pm) stopped at about 3.5 months ish. By 6 months she had one at 7am, 11am, 2PM, 6PM, and 10pm, so 5 bottles over 24 hours. By 7 months I dropped the 10pm one. It was a dream feed. She didnt wake for it so I figured she didnt need it. She took about 6oz per bottle, sometimes more, sometimes less. She was weaning so was eating 1/2 meals a day by 7 months.

Mine were on solids at 6 months so had bottles at 7, mid morning, mid afternoon, bedtime and 10pm-ish. If they had a feed in the early hours we were at the point of trying to drop it, then the 10pm feed went by 9 months.

Isn't it written on the side of the packet?

Ds didn't drop his night feed until 8 months. He was formula fed

@Ffsffsffsffsffs yes obviously there is a guide on the packet it’s more the overnight feeds I was wondering about after transitioning from BF and that isn’t on the packet!
