Neocate or Alfamino

Does one taste better ? And which is the thicker formula?
Need to choose and not sure

It's not a matter of taste/ thickness, one is more suitable for severe CMPA than the other (if alfamino/ nutramigen not tolerated as they still use casein, then neocate is prescribed)

You shouldn't be in a position to be choosing, that's your doctor's job

And neocate certainly needed carobel to thicken it for friend's DTs

They are both amino acid formulas so for severe cmpa?
We are allowed to choose as all our dc have had severe cmpa and we’ve been looking for something that may be more palatable than neocate as did struggle a bit getting dc to accept it and if we can have an easier journey to acceptance that would be much better
