Breast feeding a surrogate baby whilst on HRT?

I'm a cancer survivor and our second baby is being carried by my best friend. I co-fed our first child (not enough to feed her exclusively as she was 9lbs and had tongue tie but managed to get some supply to her) I have never completely dried up. I still get a few drops if I squeeze my boobs. She is 4 now, but I've had all my reproductive organs removed to prevent the cancer spreading. it WASN'T a hormone cancer, it was appendix cancer so It thrived on blood supply, I've got the all clear to be on HRT (Eostrogen only as I don't need the progesterone due to no womb), I know it's possible to induce relactation for adopted/surrogate infants but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about doing it whilst on HRT? My hot flushes and insomnia are quite severe off the meds so I don't think I'd be able to do it if I came off. But it seems such a shame not to try when the drops are still there.

No advice but I'm so glad your friend is able to do this for you x
