Hello. I would like to ask if anyone heard anything about Neocate possibly causing fractures, broken bones and rickets? My doctor wants my baby to try this milk after her reacting badly to Nutramigen LGG. Is all the things I read on the internet true? Just worried to make harm to my baby. Can anyone let me know? Have anyone know anything about it please?

My little boy is on Neocate and it's made him a different baby in a good way, was always in pain and screaming on other milks and covered in a rash. I've not heard of anything to do with fractures etc.
The only thing I've found is we have to thicken it with Carobel as it is very thin and he has reflux so it would just come straight back up if not thickened. People say it tastes awful and babies refuse it but my little one guzzles it down no problem.

If your baby needs it, they need it. Rickets is a lack of vit D so appropriate supplementation is easy enough to fix that

Changed friends DTs so much from reflux and not gaining to happy, chunky girls

Hi,

What has your experience been with the milk so far??
My daughter's been on Nutramigen and now has been prescribed Neocate.. due to the same issues you've mentioned I'm really concerned!!

I've done a lot of research and always come across info on bone fractures etc do you know if the company changed the formula since it all came to light?
