Breastfeeding- cant feel anything ?

Hi
I am exclusively breastfeeding my almost 12week old baby.
Does anyone else not have any 'feeling' in their breasts?

The infant feeding specialist weeks ago asked me something about feeling my let down or when the let down stops and I obviously have no idea as i've never felt anything like that.
My breasts never feel full after going a little longer than usual without a feed.
I nhst wondered if this is weird to not feel any feelings in my breats when feeding?!
If it weren't for the fact he has almost doubled his body weight I would be worried he isn't feeding well but at first we weighed him every few days as I was concerned and now just every week.

I never felt my letdown with my first (fed her until a year). I feel it with my second and it's horrible 😖

And soft boobs are happy boobs! Once your supply has regulated you shouldn't really get firm boobs, the milk should just be produced on demand.

I have successfully breastfed two children into toddlerhood and I have never felt let down. I don’t think all women do? I could tell when it was happening because the sucking and swallowing action changes but in terms of me feeling it personally, nothing. Certainly none of the tingling etc that people speak of. And despite having a plentiful supply I also never leaked, so I wonder if that is related?

With my second I didn’t feel any let down and they never got full or engorged, never leaked etc , he’s happily still feeding now at 19 months.

As long as baby has wet nappies and putting on weight don’t worry about what they feel likeZ

Normal IME. I can sleep through it and everything as long as he's not twiddling the opposite nipple.

I've never felt letdown. Mentioned to my DM once and she had no idea that some other women could Grin. I was advised some can, some only can at first and some can't at all.

I felt it for a few weeks (maybe weeks 16-20ish) but nothing again now. It wasn't very nice.
