My Ds is 8 months old. He is a good eater and currently on 3 bottles a day. One when he wakes up about 7, one about 3/4ish and then his last feed is about 10:30pm. He goes to bed about 8pm. I was wondering if i should try and bring his last feed forward to before bedtime but he didn’t want to then be feeding him to sleep again. Would you just leave things as they are or should I try it and see what happens?!

Personally I wouldn't want him to get used to milk at bedtime if he currently goes ok without it. Does he wake for the bottle at 10.30? Could you drop it entirely?

he usually starts stirring about this time so i’ve allways given it to him. i’m too scared not too and then he wakes up at like 4am looking for a feed. #selfishmum

I think at that age I started giving DS a milky supper (like readybrek) Instead of a bottle. He was a fantastic eater for his age and dropped his bottles really early. Now he's nesrly 1.5 he has dinner at 6 and bed at 8 without anything but a drink of water and he sleeps through til after 7am.

He was in a deep sleep when i went to give him his bottle just there. I felt kinda cruel disturbing him but he drank the whole 9oz so i think he definitely still needs it.
My husband doesn’t finish work until 6 so we usually have dinner when he gets home so we can all eat together. I’ll could maybe try giving DS an earlier dinner and then the supper before bed and see if he starts taking less milk.
