Hi all! Have tried look for a recent feed about the different formula brands (As I know recipes have changed for some recently) but couldn't see anything.

Please be kind - we've decided to go with combi feeding when my little man is born next month and have been doing some research into the different brands. They all have similar reviews and I am so confused!

What have your experiences been and what would you recommend? Have any of you tried one and then switched to another?

Thank you all! 😊

All my 3 were on SMA for no particular reason, breastfeeding was a epic failure with all 3. My first was premature and fed through a tube so that's what the SCBU used to feed him and we just carried on using it afterwards and then I used it with the next 2

My first had cow and gate 5 years ago. This baby is EBF and won’t actually take a bottle at the moment! But in his first few weeks he had one bottle a day so I could get sleep and we used cow and gate again- I noticed it smells pretty bad compared to how it used to smell. After doing some digging around apparantly regulation changes made most big brands add fish oils To comply with the omega 3 requirements. Only one I found that doesn’t is Kendamil who use the plant based source rather than the fish. Ordered some to try and it Definately smells better and seems a creamier nicer milk. Also made in the uk. Can’t tell you if it’s nice for baby as mine won’t take a bottle of anything at the moment!
