High calorie milk

Has anyone had experience in their baby having high calorie milk. DS has been on it for a while but recently has the amount increased but is really not tolerating it and constantly being sick (he has severe reflux anyway) but this seems to have made it much worse. Is this normal or do I need to give it a while for him to get used to the extra bottles?

Ask your babies doctor, just in case it is something else rather than the reflux that is making little one vomit more. But with reflux feeding little but often helped reduce the amount ds2 vomited out. We also tried few medication and the one that worked best for ds2 needed it to be increased as he grew until he didn’t need it anymore and he was slowly weaned off it.

Thanks... it’s definitely reflux as we’re seen paediatrician and had various tests done including a swallow study which confirmed this. Meds and carobel seemed to improve this massively until last week when the high calorie milk was increased and it seems like he can’t tolerate it. Not sure if this happens with a heavier/higher calorie milk.
