4 month old refusing to feed

Hello everyone
My 4 month old is refusing to breastfeed...He doesn't seem ill, no fever, he's quite happy just that he doesn't want to eat. This has been happening for a few days now, yesterday he had a mild diarrhea so I called GP. They said to keep an eye on and just give him some electrolyte satches in case he gest dehydrated. For the record, he's acting stranger than usual, puts everything in his mouth, he was very good at feeding and now he suddenly stopped, he doesn't sleep at night anymore, napping for very short periods of time. Anyone could help me out explaining me what's happening?

This has also just happened to me and my baby is also 4 months. He’s had quite slow weight gain since birth so I’ve just had to formula feed him all day yesterday and I think I’ll probably have to switch him entirely. Am sure this isn’t the case for you as we are at the end of a whole range of breastfeeding issues.

Will he feed at night? Or in a dark quiet room with white noise on?

The breastfeeding helpline have been very helpful with me so perhaps you could try calling them for some help?
