Sleeping too much?

My 16 month old son still has both morning and afternoon naps... and sleeps straight through the night! Is this normal? Is he sleeping too much? I would have thought he would have graduated to one nap a day by now!!

I have a 14 month old who has one nap a day (Max 1 hour) and who rarely sleeps through the night. I say enjoy it Smile

Agree with Miss Smith. Enjoy it whilst it lasts. DD dropped to 1 nap (about an hour) at 9 months and sleeps 10 hours at night. However friends DC's have completely different routines some sleep less, some sleep more. Every child needs different a amounts of sleep Smile

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If he seems happy and well in himself otherwise, then crack on!

🙄 enjoy it

My 19 month old only properly moved to one nap a day about 6 weeks ago so if it's working for you I'd stick with it. We pushed the one nap when her sleep suddenly started to slip at night with 4.30 wake ups.
