Does my baby have a floppy larynx

Hi all,

Looking for advice/experiences please.

My baby has made a high pitched sound when feeding since birth, both breast and now bottle. I mentioned to a few midwives in first few weeks who said was normal but feel now maybe I didn’t explain clearly.

The noise also happens in her sleep but it isn’t consistent and definitely more pronounced when feeding, she sounds as though she is gulping down so much air- I can almost hear the bubbles being swallowed. She always seems to be in pain a long time after feeds and therefore v unsettled.

I read about stridor and floppy larynx alwhen first started but she is 6 weeks now and I’m revisiting after trying all the usual remedies for wind and reflux.

Has anyone’s lo has this and was it a constant sound with their breathing or does it come and go?

Tia xx
