Last few times I have used my Lansinoh double pump the suction has sounded different. When I take the top but apart it’s has milk in it. Should this be happening? I’m not sure how it even gets in that bit?

It happens when you haven’t dried the silicone parts before putting the pump together. It needs to be bone dry

I have dried them all thoroughly before putting back together. Also sometimes dry over night (12 hours +) before needing to put the pump back together to use it. Then the milk appears again after one use.

I can't actually answer the question, but mine's doing the same recently (definitely dry too). Are you getting as much milk as normal? And are the white rubber bits cracked or misshapen? I think it's because the white bits aren't closing properly so it's sucking from the little bit of milk that looks there as well as from the nipple.
