Formula volume amount

Trying to word this without sounding totally daft.
I have to chart the amount my baby eats due to poor intake and specialist formula.
I make her up 4oz bottles but with formula powder displacement it comes out at 5oz total.
So she rarely finishes a bottle, but if there’s 2oz left I document that she’s taken 2oz.
Is that right?

Yes that correct. So basically what you are saying is you put in 4oz of water then 4 scoops of formula but it comes up at 5oz on the bottle? What bottles are you using? X

I used to know this. I had similar, OP. Two preemie babies that needed their feeding monitored. Constant notes in a book about what was eaten when.

Thanks

@Laylor yes that’s right.
Using mam anti colic bottles.
