Mummies, anyone has used dr brown bottles? My premature 34 weeks, now 7 weeks old baby struggles with bottle feeds. We have yried MAM and tommy tipee and both causes him screaming, atching back, winds... We tried Dr. Browns teat 1 and it was amaxing, not a single complaint, sooooo happy BUT flow was so slow in 45minutes he drank 25 ml. I ordered teat 2 (+3months) to try but its the same, 1h to drink 30 ml. So something is not working here. Its horrible feeding him with normal MAM bottle but he needs to drink hos volume

Any idea how to improve flow safely? Thanks. Next teat up is +6 months

I would just try a Level 3 and see how he gets on with it. I'm using Level 4 (9 months, supposedly) for my 5.5 month old.

That's weird. I've used Dr browns with all my three babies, I'm literally feeding the littlest one now, and we've never used bigger than a level 2!

My DD is 6.5 months and we have only just switched to level 2 teats. I had tried them a few times before but it seemed she was drowning in milk and she was really unsettled after a feed.

I used the level 2 much sooner with my last baby because he was on gaviscon and it makes the milk thicker, but we still never needed level 3.

Maybe it's the type of milk that makes the difference? I use Hipp organic.
