SMA alfamino

Anyone use SMA alfamino formula?
My DD is due to start it as soon as the chemist get it in.
Do you prepare it the same way as normal formula? 1 scoop to 1oz of water?
Can I still use my perfect prep?

Anyone?
Also what do you do when your out and about?
Currently we use premade but I don’t think that’s an option with the alfamino.
(No we are not going about just now, only for GP appointments, immunisations ect.)

My little one has just been changed over to the sma alfamino formula from the neocate. She has been diagnosed with a cows milk allergy and is suffering with really bad reflux. I have followed all instructions on the sma tin on how to prep the bottles but I’m finding that it’s very grainy and won’t come out of the teats. Was this the case for you? How were you prepping the feeds? And can you pre make bottles?

I'm finding it a bit grainy as well no matter how well I mix but DD seems ok with it so I dunno

Hi did u find a magic way I'm struggling so so much with it being so grainy and not coming through the teat my baby I'd just screaming and getting so tired trying x

Hi, did you get any answers to this? How does anyone make it for taking out and about for the day?
I sound so daft asking because my other son had this exact same formula and i genuinely cannot remember what we did…all i found were texts to my mum saying ‘how am i meant to leave the house / it has to be cooked for 30 mins max / what do i do?’ … then nothing to say what i actually did 😂
Baby son has just been prescribed it too so i need to remember!

Anyone use the perfect prep with it as well?
