Hey, I'm writing this on behalf of DW who is in a lot of pain right now. She's the kind of lady who shrugs off losing a toenail so to hear her in so much pain... it's bad.

DD is a few days shy of 1yo. She's been fed regularly but we need to stop the breastfeeding asap.

We think it's vasospasm caused by DD clamping down on the outside with her teeth and cutting some blood supply and/or milk supply. When she unlatches, there is a dent in the skin.

There has also been a bunch of blocked ducts and lumps in the past to confuse the matter but these lumps do go.

The pain lasts 1-1.5hrs and is in waves.

Q1. What can we do to stop the pain, as in right now? Friday 1045am

Q2. We're done with breastfeeding. How do we get DD to take cows milk from today please?

I'd appreciate some links to articles, or advice.

DS is 5yo and this wasn't an issue then.

Further, left arm goes numb.

I've never seen anyone in so much pain who wasn't in hospital or on their way to hospital.
