Hi all,

I'm hoping someone might have some advice on this. I have a four month old who has mainly been breastfed so far but it's been a rocky road and I've recently decided to switch him to formula. I've been giving him bottles for the last couple of weeks, but I can't get him to take much from them. He'll only drink 30-50ml and will then cry when we try to give him the bottle again, even though he's clearly hungry. A few times we've managed to get him to drink more by doing things like holding him standing and singing to him. He's previously taken bottles fine, it's just quite a recent thing. We've tried offering the bottle at lots of different times of day/hunger level and a few different types of bottle, all with the same effect. We're using size two teats.

Hoping someone might have experienced something similar and can shed some light as I'm worried the poor mite isn't getting enough food :-/

I’ll check what size our teats are for my combi feeder but just wanted to reply so I find the thread in the morning and send a proper reply.

We are on size one teats. How often are you burping him?
