Finished bf DD2 last week just after her second birthday.

She is drinking goats milk and eating cheese and yogurts. How much should she be having daily?

if she is eating the dairy foods you describe then any amount of milk on top of that is a bonus. my dd probably has about 1/2 pint a day with milk on cereal, drinks etc.

She wouldn't always have all of these every day and doesn't always want a drink of milk. She's still asking for 'booby' and tried a suck this morning. I told her that it was all gone but to my surprise she said that she got some!

My ds has 1/2 beaker of milk plus milk on his cereal for breakfast. A whole beaker of milk with his tea plus yogurt/rice/semolina/custard type pudding. Then maybe 1/2 beaker before bed. Not sure how much that adds up to (I think his beakers are about 200ml in size) or whether it is in line with guidelines.

the minimum recommended from 1 year is 350mls (around 12oz). They dont have to take it all (or any) as a drink as any dairy products and milk you add to food or cereal all count towards that total too.
