So many moons ago my health visitor gave us a sippy cup and said try giving a few sips of cooled boiled water in it from 4 months.
DS was four months yesterday. My HV was due to come out this week but isn’t for reasons i’m sure your all aware so I can’t ask her.
Am I supposed to sterilise the cup same as a bottle?! And how often should I be offering it to DS everyday?! every few days?!

I didnt give water until I started giving solids. Its not really required before then. Also from 6 months you can just put tap water in it as a drink rather than cool boiled water. Also means you dont need to sterilise it if it's just used for water

Firstly, really no need for water unless they're thirsty when on solids.

Secondly, no need to sterilise.
